Just moved? Can’t find anything? Or been here a while but still looking to meet new friends and learn about the area? We’re here to help! The Rye Newcomers and Neighbors’ Club is a social organization that will introduce you to the Rye community and provide you with a sense of ongoing camaraderie through many events and activities. We welcome all residents of Rye, Rye Brook, Rye Neck, Purchase, Port Chester and Harrison. And you don’t have to be new to the area in order to join! MONTHLY EVENTS Our events not only bring together members of the community, they also help you to become acquainted with the resources and attractions of Rye and the surrounding area. Our many events include: • Wine tastings, sunset sails and cocktails on the Sound • Community service opportunities in and around Rye • Courses on finding balance in our lives, led by a clinical psychologist and popular club speaker • Spring Luncheon, Girls’ Spa Night, pottery classes, jewelry making • Kids’ ice cream parties, beach blasts, pumpkin carving, sledding • March Madness Basketball tournament, paddle tennis parties, golf clinics, poker night, fishing trips We will kick off the year with a family barbecue in September and an informational coffee in October. Check our newsletter or website for specific dates! SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS If you are interested in joining any of these groups, please contact the people listed on the SIG Page. They will be able to tell you more about each group: SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS MEMBERSHIP Our year runs from September to June. You will receive a monthly newsletter that details our programs, activities and local resources. We also issue a membership directory. An annual membership fee of $40 helps to balance a portion of our costs. Please complete the MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION FORM and send your payment in.
